As of Sunday, January 14, we have officially begun merging with New Hope Fellowship. We are excited that God has led our two church families to become one. In the coming months, we will finalize details about this marriage of churches, including what we will name our merged church family.
Join us on a Sunday for our worship service at 10:30 am! We meet together at, 418 W 7th Street, which has been New Hope Fellowship’s building for many years. If you have any questions for us, please reach out to lifespringchico@gmail.com.
As always, you can continue to join us on Facebook live at facebook.com/lifespringchico/. The video will start around 10:30 am, and our service will begin shortly after. We understand that we all have to go at our own pace for different reasons as we start to re engage our surroundings. If church at home on Facebook live is where you are comfortable, we completely understand.

What is Lifespring Church all about?
We are a new Church family that started up in Chico in 2016. We want to be intentional about focusing on 3 things:
- Blessing: We want to be Bless our community with Love
- Belonging: We want to create spaces and relationships where all people feel like the Belong
- Believing: We want to be encouraging each other to believe the good news of God’s love for us
What we believe:
- God, the Creator of the world, is all powerful and all knowing. God’s ways are perfect and He loves mankind, despite our sin.
- Humans are separated from God due to sin. Without redemption from sin, man’s end is death.
- People matter to God. His love for man is so deep that God initiated a way to cover humanity’s sin and to make a way for people to be reconciled to Him.
- Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Head of the church, is the only way to God and to eternal life. Jesus died for our sins, and rose from the dead so that man could be redeemed from his sinful nature and restored to a right relationship with God.
- Forgiveness of sins and eternal life are available to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Those accepting Jesus Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him.
- The Holy Spirit lives within and empowers every Christian.
- God exists eternally as three persons in one, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- The Bible is the inspired word of God, and shows us how to live and love our God.
- The Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the love of God and the Grace He has given to us with the world around us.

Life Groups!
One of the main ways to connected with Lifespring is through checking out a Life Group. A Life Group is a small gathering of people who are interested in sharing friendship, learning more about faith, and being intentional about loving our community in Jesus name. Life Groups meet on a weekly basis and are central to getting connected at Lifespring. If you are interested in joining a Life Group, email us at luke@lifespringchico.org
Worship with Us!
We are meeting Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM at 418 W 7th Street, near downtown Chico. We have entered a partnership with New Hope Fellowship, and for the last year or so have been worshipping together at New Hope’s facility.

We love and value our kids at Lifespring!
We want to teach our kids how to “Reach Our Community with Kindness”, which is why we call our Kids ministry Kids R.O.C.K. (the w is silent) . On Sundays we include our kids in our whole church worship time for the first few minutes of singing, and then have a time for kids to come up and talk with our pastor. Then we send them to our kids ministry team for age appropriate teaching and activities.
Lifespring Student Ministry
For Middle School and High School Students:
We are excited to be able to provide a place for middle school and high school students to build encouraging relationships with each other and with leaders who want to invest in their lives. These nights will include games, fun, food, small group discussion, bible study and encouragement. We meet 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm, at the New Hope building, 418 W 7th Street.

Luke has been engaged in student ministry in local churches for the last 18 years, and has sensed God’s call on his life to pursue planting a new church in Chico, CA. God has given Luke and Joy a passion for relational style of ministry that meets people where they are and helps them connect with God and his story. They have 3 children, Branden, Alyssa, and Caitlin, who are young adults. Alyssa is also married with 2 young kids, and they love being grandparents.
